Description: Sr. Manager, HR Diversity & Inclusion

Primary Function

The Sr. Manager, HR Diversity & Inclusion collaborates with Target Technology Services (TTS) business teams and HR to provide insight, consult and lead the development of strategic approaches in service of advancing prioritized areas of opportunity within Diversity and Inclusion at Target.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Program Management of TTS Diversity Action Committee and Diversity/Inclusion Efforts

·Organize, operationalize, and coordinate efforts of the TTS Diversity Action Committee (DAC)

·Partner closely with the DAC executive sponsor and HR support partners

·Define and execute annual and quarterly operating cadence; Facilitate quarterly review of TTS DAC OKRs

·Coordinate goals within the DAC and its subcommittees

·Ensure subcommittees are supported in their work and meeting their DAC goals

·Track DAC core team members and DAC supporters and advocates

·Support communication of progress to the broader organization via TTS stand-ups and other forums

Structure and Implement Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Direction for TTS

·Establish senior leader sponsors to drive TTS initiatives

·Create awareness and communication plans to drive Technology initiatives, and provide visibility to initiatives across TTS

·Perform market and industry specific research for technology, in partnership with key experts, in order to inform holistic strategies around engagement, retention, etc.

·Establish and leverage strategic partnerships; integrate into the HR CFT, partnering closely with HR/TA/L&D in support of the total talent goals

·Develop an approach for assessing and implementing diversity initiatives across the DAC, HR and the technology teams

·Build and execute a comprehensive proactive communication strategy to drive participation in prioritized initiatives

·Develop deeper partnerships externally (aligned with D&I and TA strategies) in support of shared goals

·Lead and implement enterprise, human resources and diversity & inclusion team strategic initiatives, through organization of timelines, assignment of roles, facilitation of routines, and management of information with appropriate cross-functional partners.

Reporting/Working Relationships:

This role reports to the Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion/Chief Diversity Officer, and works closely with TTS and Leadership and D&I ecosystem partners.

Qualifications

·Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

·6-8 years of strategy development and/or program/product management experience

·Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills; can design, develop, and deliver innovative solutions

·Proven track record or critical thinking; ability to leverage data and insights to influence and develop/track solutions

·Proven sense of accountability; owns quality and end results

·Strong collaboration skills to partner with broad cross-functional teams; proven abilities to execute multiple tasks simultaneously with quality results

·Flexibility, resiliency and nimbleness; comfortable working in “grey areas”

·Ability to Influence a broad group of stakeholders, partners and senior leaders - without direct authority

·Connect and integrate strategies across multiple spaces

·High levels of initiative and self-motivation

·Technical aptitude
