Then you'll have success on our Design team who owns the design and development of all Target-owned brands. In close partnership with our merchant and sourcing counterparts, you'll drive brand cohesion and continuity, ensuring that our products meet the merchant line plans, assortment strategies, price points and overall creative direction. As a Designer, you will be accountable to support the team on the research and development of seasonal trend concepts, color, material and form directions to inspire and provide direction/recommendations with alignment to overall brand and product strategy. Utilizing multiple sources of media, guest research, trend services and creative intuition to build assortments that support the brand. Other responsibilities include building out the presentation docs/materials, independently managing workload, understanding key deadlines and deliverables. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.About you:
- 4 year degree in Design, Fine Art, similar or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3-8 years of experience.
- Computer design system skills including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Experience in CAD illustration or 2D/3D software.
- Demonstrated high taste level, creative and storytelling ability.
- Commercial sense, market knowledge, ability to research and apply market/trend information.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of product development processes.
