Here, you'll partner with our quality and compliance teams to understand performance testing protocols and develop products that meet them. Your work can help identify technical specifications and quality standards like raw materials, fit and function, construction details and dimensions. You'll leverage collective expertise to suggest improvements to cost of goods, assembly, sustainability and ROI. You'll also collaborate with vendors to ensure that the brand vision is clearly understood and successfully brought to life with every product we offer.As a Product Engineer, you will be accountable to understand the business's strategic initiatives and proactively work to implement supporting technical solutions.  Support the team on the research and development on material and form directions to inspire and provide direction/recommendations with alignment to overall brand and product strategy.  Utilizing multiple sources of media, guest research and vendor research/collaboration to build assortments that support the brand.   Other responsibilities include building out the presentation docs/materials, independently managing workload, understanding key deadlines and deliverables. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.About you:
  • 4 year Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or product development related degree.
  • 4-8 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of testing, safety and legal requirements for consumer products.
  • Knowledge of applicable raw materials and their performance and usage.
  • Strong knowledge of various 2-D and/or 3-D CAD software packages.
  • Exhibits a working knowledge of product manufacturing.
  • Ability to successfully work in a team environment as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
