Ballard Spahr is seeking a self-motivated Estate Administrator to join our Private Client Services practice in the Minneapolis office. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is dependable, has the ability to work efficiently, both independently and on a team, with a proven track record of being able to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required. The selected individual will be highly motivated with strong organizational skills, solid attention to detail and will have the ability to work well under pressure.

This position requires frequent interaction with clients and their advisors. Previous experience in estate administration handling basic probate tasks, preparing estate tax and gift tax returns, gathering of decedents’ assets and evaluating assets, bill paying/bookkeeping, fiduciary accounting and reviewing and filing fiduciary income tax returns is required.  Some experience with preparation of real estate deeds will be helpful.   Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel and mathematical ability is essential to be successful in this position.   Undergraduate degree and/or paralegal certification preferred.
