Position DescriptionThis position is responsible for provider reimbursement and analysis of provider impact relating to provider reimbursement payment methodology. Communicate results to internal and external customers.
·Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of UCare provider contracts, benefit packages, and claim processing procedures.·Actively participate in the Payment Policy Workgroup. ·Analyze current and future contract arrangements for the financial impact to UCare as well as the Provider related to fee schedules.·Development and analysis of new fee schedules.·Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.·Develop and maintain documentation and procedures for standard projects.·Assist in analysis of performance by contract for rate setting and budgeting purposes.·Contracting in contracts-related information requests.·Other projects and duties as assigned.EducationBS/BA with an emphasis in finance/accounting or related field; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Required Experience
Five years of related health care insurance experience.
