Do you have a background in Quality primarily in manufacturing? We want to hear from you! Pro Staff currently has an opening on 3rd shift for a Quality Assurance Technician, in this role you will be overseeing multiple factors to ensure the a high quality product throughout the production process for glass manufacturing company.  Hours for 3rd shift are 10pm-6am (Sunday - Thursday)

Job Duties Include:
  • Coordinate Material Review Board and initiate Special Release.
  • Report Non-Conforming Material issues and coordinate containment action plans
  • Monitor and document inspection and testing sample plan compliance 
  • Perform and document internal quality system audits
  • Perform and document self-assessments to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Assist implementing quality management system tools, techniques, procedures and training
  • Perform basic quality functions-possibly including:
  • Inspect, Analyze and Report on materials, processes and products to ensure they meet the documented quality standards
  • Quality testing and data analysis
  • Coordinate Corrective Action & Preventive Action (CAPA) plans
  • Assist in the follow-up to Customer Complaints
  • Provide disposition for non-conforming product and raw materials by confirming specifications via visual inspection or measurement testing
  • Complete daily rounds checklist and create shift pass down report
  • Support production with clarity and application of specification or procedures
  • Support coordination activity for 3rd party product certification audits 
  • Gets along and interacts positively with co-workers and others; understands and relates to others
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Diplomatically handles challenging or tense interpersonal situations
  • Basic understanding and background experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Hands on experience using measurement equipment; caliper, micrometer, power supplies, voltmeter etc…
  • Daily use of computer based applications – Microsoft office products, QMS, production reporting systems
  • Basic knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control)
  • Broad knowledge of product and raw material specifications
  • Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks
  • Highly motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Maintains composure in highly stressful or adverse situations
  • Builds and maintains customer satisfaction with the products and services offered by the organization; provides excellent service to internal and external customers
  • Team player who can maintain and strengthen a cooperative relationship between Quality, Engineering, and Operations team
  • Shows insight into the root-causes of problems. Generates a range of solutions and courses of action with benefits, costs, and risks associated with each
  • Uses mathematical techniques to calculate data or solve practical problems
  • Recognizes situations that warrant initiative and moves forward without hesitation; reasonably resolves issues, problems, or situations
  • Adapting to and working with a variety of situations, individuals, and groups. Open to different and new ways of doing things; willingness to modify one’s preferred way of doing things
