Ware Technologies Services is partnering with a local company to fill a contract Quality Technician. The Quality Inspector will independently perform inspections on parts, materials, customer returns and supplies received from vendors, perform in-process production inspections, and ensure products comply with quality standards prior to shipment. Inspector will verify that suppliers comply with company quality program requirements. Issues acceptance or rejection tags based on outcome of inspections, checking with supervisor on more difficult determinations. Follows company procedures to documents rejected parts. Initiates routing of paperwork to ensure purchasing, inventory, and accounting records remain accurate. Audits and monitors quality requirements in accordance with company quality assurances policies and customer specifications. Conducts inspections on first articles, customer returns, in-process, and in-coming; completes final inspections, inspects staged products prior to shipments to clients. Initiates Non-Conformance reports as required Inputs and performs trending of key inspection process metrics Performs accurate mechanical, physical and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies as per inspection plans and specification requirements Two year technical degree plus two years’ experience within a recognized quality program (ISO, ASTM, GMP). Above average computer knowledge. Must be able to enter information into excel databases, manipulate, analyze, and report on quality trends in addition to keeping accurate records.
