Hunter Hamilton has an immediate need for an Accounts Payable Specialist to work in the SW metro! This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, dynamic team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist you will interact closely with vendors and customers to resolve invoicing issues.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers concerning invoice status
  • Investigate issues with problem invoices providing resolution for payment scheduling
  • Maintain assigned vendor  invoices within department standards
  • Compile and review trends concerning problem invoices
  • Coach internal and external customers on proper procedures with the intent on reducing problem invoices
  • Assist with the month-end close process
  • Answer questions on the impact of Accounts Payable actions on general ledger accounts
  • Enter/Validate invoice information in the Scanning/ Accounts Payable system
  • Other Accounts Payable duties or projects as requested from leadership


Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of professional Accounts Payable experience
  • Associate's of Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Fast, accurate 10 key and data entry skills
  • Technical proficiency with MS Office Suite and Accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
