Primary responsibility is to oversee development and implementation of a federal magnet school grant. Responsible for budget management, progress reporting, facilitating and assisting implementation, student recruitment and placement, overall development of magnet themes, as well as overall leadership for the grant, and overseeing and coordinating the magnet programs.  This is a full-time position, 235 days per year.  A more detailed job description is available upon request.  Start date is negotiable and position is available immediately.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in education, plus experience in a magnet school setting.  A valid administrator’s license or a master’s degree with additional coursework in curriculum, supervision, research, assessment, statistics, special populations, school finance, and leadership is preferred.

For persons not currently employed by Northwest Suburban, final appointment to all positions is contingent upon the results of a criminal background check.
