Community Planner / Grant Coordinator – SHIP Grant
Working together with public health staff, this position will lead the activities of the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership grant (SHIP). Primary duties include: assessing the health status associated with social, economic and behavioral conditions; facilitating and leading the development and implementation of the SHIP grant; utilizing best practices and evidence-based methodology; developing and implementing proposals, grants, and programs; assisting with the development and oversight of contracts; and analyzing and interpreting data to infer recommendations.
MQs: Requires equivalency of a bachelor’s degree in Community Planning, Public Policy, Public Health or related field and 3 years of experience with community based planning and organizing. Prior work with health assessments, broad-based policy and systems change, and leading collaborative efforts is preferred. Valid driver’s license is required.
Hiring Range: $54,319 to $67,898-DOQ.
