Assistant Professor of Computer Science
Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. This is a probationary/tenure-track/9-month appointment starting August 19, 2019. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching lower-level and upper-level undergraduate as well as graduate computer science courses. Additionally, the successful candidate should have a passion for teaching undergraduate Computer Science courses and the ability to support departmental growth in emerging areas of computing, including but not limited to, security, mobile applications, gaming, big data, virtual/augmented reality, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and human computer interaction. Minimum qualifications for this position include at least ABD in Computer Science or related field with doctorate degree completed by the time of tenure decision, a demonstrated commitment to quality teaching and excellent communication skills.
