A role in Global Logistics, Inventory Allocation and Replenishment means you'll focus on the efficient transportation of product around the world. Here, you'll be challenged to pivot seamlessly from sales operations and planning, to ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, to achieving the best possible product availability through proper inventory positioning. You'll establish and develop great relationships with our vendors to encourage on-time shipment and delivery to stores and ultimately, guests. And you'll analyze transportation supplier capabilities and contracts for maximum speed, reliability and cost effectiveness.
You'll contribute to the system design and development of business process solutions to drive speed and precision within the imports supply chain. You'll become a subject matter expert in Target's newly implemented supply chain platform.
You'll work across global teams, in a fast-paced environment, to assist in the implementation of a new supply chain platform. You'll contribute to the development of training and onboarding materials as well as lead process documentation and SOP creation.
- 4-year college degree
- Experience with creating SOPs and/or process documentation
- Strong communication & organizational skills
- Results driven and ability to work independently and collaborate across groups to implement technology and process solutions
- Ability to assess needs of various user groups and develop effective solutions
- 2+ years of business experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation or related field
