The Guest Data Management team, within the Loyalty Marketing organization, is responsible for mastery of Target's guest data to ensure that the enterprise has consistent, reliable access to accurate, timely guest data to support business decisions, marketing communications, and personalized guest experiences. This is a highly evolving space that requires continual adaptation and enterprise leadership to ensure that we are optimizing the strategic value of our data, while maintaining the highest standards to ensure guest privacy and positive guest experiences.

As a Product Owner, you will represent the “voice of the customer” by updating, maintaining, and prioritizing the product backlog to ensure that the scrum team is working on stories that maximize business value and deliver necessary fixes and functionality to customers. You will assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with overall product strategy. Working closely with the product manager, you will draft key business objectives and strategies for the product. Possessing a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience, data integration, the customer data lifecycle, and key dependencies with other products, you will lead, manage, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners, and stakeholder management for the product. You will evaluate customer requests for capabilities, industry drivers, and competition to determine product priorities. Through the open exchange of information and viewpoints within and outside of the scrum team, you will encourage and inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction. You will foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles.     5+ years of experience working with internal customer data through queries, report development, and/or analytics5+ years of experience working on large-scale development projects in cooperation with I/T developers 2+ years of experience leading a team Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong consulting skills, working with business and technical partners to gather requirements, prioritize work, and develop solutions Passion to deliver results, make difficult trade-off decisions, and be accountable for a team's results2-3 years in a product strategy roleExperience working in an agile environment Experience working with a Marketing and e-commerce organizationExperience with data management, analytics, and/or digital
