guests, and meets the financial goals of shortage and profitability in a Target store.
Use your talents and experience to demonstrate self-direction, detailed problem solving, strategic
communication, independent judgement and decision making in order to drive results for Assets
Protection. 


As an Assets Protection Portfolio Manager, you will:

  • You will drive coordination of activities across key process initiatives by coordinating the
  • strategic planning across the portfolio while also evaluating key strategies and
  • deliverables on a quarterly basis.
  • You will ensure that key stakeholders are consistently engaged across all major initiatives
  • and strategies through strategic planning with peer leaders.
  • Leverage Assets Protections wide project management tools to deliver strategic portfolio
  • management across the assigned business portfolio considerate of key dates/milestones.
  • Lead a cadence of strategic reviews across key stakeholders to drive alignment and
  • prioritization across the portfolio while connecting to broader cadence for all of Assets
  • Protection.
  • Strategically map out key milestones with business leaders while considering the stores
  • organization and ensuring proper sequencing.
  • Effectively lead large cross-functional teams through major Assets Protection initiatives
  • such as Store Operating Model project work.
  • Effectively project manage impactful events such as our spring and fall national meetings
  • for our Assets Protection field leaders.
  • Identify and address key decisions, messages and risks via appropriate escalation
  • Partner with business teams to better understand enhancements or adjustments to key
  • strategies.
  • Partners with Store Operations Strategy & Planning team to ensure strategies fit into the
  • collective operating cadence and governance routines.
  • While this is an individual contributor role, this role will work across several teams to drive
  • timing and alignment of strategic deliverables.
  • Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.
About you:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of experience in relevant business support or store support role
  • Experience influencing key business partners, including senior leadership
  • Demonstrated resiliency to a fast-paced, changing retail environment¬†
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project, process and change management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build an optimal strategy for the business and put plans in place
  • to execute on the strategy
  • Experience operating in an ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction and in high intensity situations with
  • tight deadlines
  • Ability to challenge status quo and resolve problems that are without clear precedent
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and working in highly collaborative
  • environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Desired MBA and previous stores experience
