Lead Specialist Corp Security (C3)
·On-Boarding: Responsible for developing a plan for newly hired C3 Senior Technicians. The on-boarding plan spans over a five week period and includes scheduling, interaction with leaders, and submission of all required access/technical needs.
·Training: Leads all new hires through daily activities during the intensive training process. The training process is a highly engaging, five week process and includes mock scenarios, report development, call intake, documentation, team and organizational culture, and all aspects of Corporate Command Center operations.
·Team Scheduling: TheLead Specialist Corporate Security is responsible for coordinating and managing all non-exempt staff scheduling. Rotational changes occur each quarter and ad hoc to account for time off requests, new hires, 24x7x365 coverage, and continuity site presence is an element of the role.
·Team Member Support: Provides support and peer coaching for internal team members regarding soft skills, policies/procedures, system functionality, and personal development.
·Metrics: Responsible for developing, maintaining, and reporting team metrics for Global Crisis Management.
·Leader on Duty (LOD): Responsible for the watch floor daily operations. The LOD will assist the C3 Headquarters Incident Leader (HQIL) ensuring the watch floor is operating efficiently. This responsibility is rotated among C3 Senior Technicians based on work schedules.
·Incident and Crisis Management: The Lead Specialist Corporate Security works collaboratively with C3 Leadership, the Global Crisis Management team, and the Green team to prepare for, respond to, and recovery from all incidents and crisis events that may impact Target domestically and internationally.
·Information Collection and Management: The Lead Specialist Corporate Security uses multiple internal and external resources to gather and manage information and intelligence about events that are occurring both domestically and internationally that may impact Target and its team members.
·Analysis and Fusion: The Lead Specialist Corporate Security analyzes and fuses all-source information that is collected and makes initial decisions on escalation by using pre-established best practices.
·Communication and Dissemination: The Lead Specialist Corporate Security communicates and disseminates information, using established communication vehicles, to key partners using best practices.
·Project Management: The Lead Specialist Corporate Security takes an active role in Corporate Command Center projects. This role may range from consulting to owning projects based on complexity.
·Operational Readiness: The Lead Specialist Corporate Security will ensure operational readiness and self-development through audits, planning, training, education, and exercising. They will also be assessed on their ability to execute their core roles related to incident and crisis management.
·Resource for Others: The Lead Specialist Corporate Security serves as a resource and technical support to leaders and Green Team partners. Troubleshooting and researching questions from Leadership and the Green Team, communicating issue progress and resolution are a regular activity, as this position is viewed as a subject matter expert for key partners.
·Other duties as assigned.
This position will report directly to the Sr. Corporate Security Manager in C3. These team members will also interact with the Global Crisis Management team, Target's Crisis Green Team, Corporate Security, various levels of both HQ and field leadership, and other key business partners.
