FINANCIAL REPRESENTATIVE

Position Description

This position is responsible to perform accounts payable functions to produce weekly payments to vendors. Maintain effective and timely communication with vendors and internal customers. Manage UCare's corporate card program while maintaining efficient operations. Administer travel and expense program. Post payments to Wells Fargo desktop deposit system.

·Review Accounts Payable invoices then enter into Oracle for producing the weekly check runs.  Review the documentation and approvals on all Accounts Payable invoices. Manage Accounts Payable emails. 

·Respond timely to Accounts Payable inquires and issues. Interact and develop good working relationships with vendors and UCare staff who interact or are impacted by the Accounts Payable area.

·Oversee corporate card purchasing program.  Develop policies and efficiencies to improve/expand current purchasing card program.  Perform the administrative tasks associated with the Corporate Card Program, request new cards, close accounts, and reset passwords.  Complete monthly corporate card entry and review all supporting documentation and approvals.

·Administer UCare's Travel and Expense program through Concur. Review expense reports for accuracy and process for payment. Generate and review Concur reports.

·Responsible for depositing checks, excluding member premium payments, that are sent to UCare through Wells Fargo CEO desktop.

·Provide training as needed for corporate card, travel & expense program and desktop deposits.

·Provide backup to Oracle purchase order system as needed.

·Maintain high quality of service to both internal and external customers.

·Develop, implement and maintain procedures and policies to facilitate and improve operational efficiencies.

·Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or the equivalent.  Two year degree or certificate in Business or Accounting; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Experience

Two years accounts payable/bookkeeping experience.  Proficiency with database and spreadsheet software.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience working directly with internal and external customers to resolve issues.  Microsoft Office knowledge preferred and proven ability to learn a variety of software packages. Experience with Oracle EBS.
