Bring your skills as a bold and forward-thinking professional communicator who thrives on building confidence, driving brand love and creating value. Here, you'll shine as a relationship-focused pro who's strategically minded, an expert executor and an articulate brand ambassador. Rise to the challenge of driving results with smart risk-taking, constant innovation and perpetual teaching and learning. Comprised of Public Relations, Public Affairs, Crisis Management and Internal Enterprise Communications, this team strengthens and protects Target's reputation and helps drive traffic, sales and guest loyalty. You'll develop deep relationships with business partners to ensure critical information flows through multiple channels, building confidence with team members and external stakeholders and strengthening Target's position within the competitive retail marketplace.

As a Sr. Manager, Internal Marketing and Team Member Engagement, you will lead a highly entrepreneurial team of strategists and producers to conceptualize, create and deliver key company meetings, moments and interactive experiences that ground team members in the Target's purpose, values and behaviors and bring our company strategy to life.

In this position you will play a leading role in driving Target's team culture by build a 52-week, “always on” plan designed to engage team members at every level, creating a deeper understanding of Target's strategic priorities and inspiring new ways of thinking and working. Your job is to ensure team members are proud of the brand and confident in Target's future.

Over the years, this team has built and refined a series of well-established programs including the Outer Spaces external speaker series, pop-up experiences to celebrate new products and innovation, as well as our own spin on TED Talks called RED Talks. The team is responsible for programing public spaces in Target's headquarters building and also runs monthly officer meetings and all-company town halls. It also plays a crucial role in planning and executing a week-long activations around key company moments including the Fall National Meeting and Financial Community/Now+Next meetings each spring.

Looking ahead, your charge is to continually assess, refine and elevate this suite of programs and determine new and exciting ways to deepen participation and engagement across the company. This role is highly autonomous. The portfolio of programs is yours to define.

While there are a number of success factors that will be important for this role, a strong candidate must have:

A deep desire to wake up every morning motivated to turn team members into passionate advocates for the brand.

A proven record of leading people and cross-functional teams (multiple disciplines, different expertise) in highly ambiguous projects (there is no road map, if you are doing it right … this is a trailblazer kind of job)

A creative mind, a practical outlook and unwavering ability to go with the flow.

Superb organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

The ability to establish a clear vision and marshal team member resources to bring it to life.

Strong executive presence.

An insatiable curiosity to understand what other companies are doing this kind of work well and an unrelenting desire to bring those ideas and best practices back and apply them to our own work.

Experience overseeing all aspects of an agency management (talent, SOWs, budgets, feedback).

That said, this is one of the most fun and rewarding jobs you can have at Target, as it is a unique opportunity to have hand in personally shaping and strengthening the team culture of one of America's most beloved brands.
