Job Details

Hunter Hamilton is searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract-to-hire position near Minneapolis.  

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for supporting accounts payable activities, including efficiently and accurately processing invoices for payment, data entry, spreadsheet management, and maintaining accounts payable files and records. In addition, the Accounts Payable Specialist will respond to vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices, discrepancy reconciliation and monthly closings. 

Job Requirements:
As an Accountant, you must have excellent analytical, mathematical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work well in a team environment. The ideal candidate will also have a two-year accounting certificate or degree, 2-3 years of previous Accounts Payable experience, quick and accurate data entry/10-key skills, great attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
