ENGINEER
Target Enterprise, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Engineer at our offices in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The Engineer will be responsible for writing, developing and unit testing software and building, testing and implementing infrastructure components to meet design specifications. This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Information Science, Computer Science or a related field and 2 years related experience. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Information Science, Computer Science or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 12 months of demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) working in an agile development environment to build back-end system for processing, transforming and maintaining data; (2) develop and modify internal application and database systems; (3) implementing real-time processing software for streaming data using open source technologies, including Kafka and Storm; (4) writing technical specifications and creating prototypes; and (5) working with Java, Spring / Spring Boot, Ratpack, REST, Hibernate, Jenkins, Chef, Logstash, Filebeat, Git, JFrog Artifactory, PostgreSQL, AngularJS, Ionic, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JIRA, Confluence, CodeNarc, Checkstyle, and Sonatype Nexus.
