BUILDING LEADER for Middle School Targeted Services Summer Coordinated Programs - 6 Positions Available
DATES & SUMMER HOURS:
Middle School: June 17 - July 19 - Monday thru Friday, 7:15 - 11:45 am, plus some additional hours for planning/coordination and 2-3 additional after school meetings in the spring (no school week of July 4).
SITES: Middle School sites
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direction and supervision for the Targeted Services staff during summer school services. Collaborate and work with current building administrators. Facilitate good student behavior in the building by working with students, staff, and families. Complete and submit required district paperwork.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current MN Teaching License or School Counselor License.
This position may be filled immediately after 7 posting days (after: 1/28/19) by an appropriately licensed candidate (PELSB Tier 3 or Tier 4 license).
(Anoka-Hennepin will make every effort to hire teachers with full standard licenses in the assigned subject and grade level.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Current MN Administrative License and/or staff coordination experience.
RATE OF PAY: Teachers who work at their same position during the summer or do their own unit work during the summer, are paid according to their master agreement. Former Anoka-Hennepin Contracted Teachers or previous Anoka-Hennepin Summer School Teachers will receive the hourly rate in accordance with previous step/lane placement up to the maximum hourly rate stated in Article X of the working agreement ($35.37). New Summer School Teachers not employed in Anoka-Hennepin will be paid at Bachelors-Step 1 rate of $30.91 per hour. Teachers will be paid for teaching time plus prep time. There is no sick leave for summer school teachers.
ACTIVE CASUAL HOURS AS NEEDED BASED ON ENROLLMENT.
POSITIONS MAY BE FILLED IMMEDIATELY. Applications will be accepted until all positions have been filled.
