A role with Target Promotion Marketingmeans that you'll be part of a team that leads Target's Value communication strategy and brings holistic promotional and value stories to life for Target's guests.  The team has a broad range of responsibilities including strategy planning& development, creative, execution and production.  Promotions Marketing leverages a variety of print and digital media and is responsible for Target's Weekly Ad, Digital Weekly Ad, Print Promotions, In-store Promotional Signing and Printing Services

As Sr. Mgr ACD Art Direction, you'll oversee and manage creative projects, direct creative staff and act as brand steward for Target Weekly Ad and Target Promotions in a variety of print and digital media. You'll lead and manage a design and copy team, contractors and external agencies to concept, design and develop creative executions that support the Target brand and meet our business and strategic objectives. You'll stay ahead of the latest cultural, style and grocery industry trends and you'll inspire and guide team towards new approaches and ideas. You should be able to collaborate seamlessly and work well as part of a team. Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. About you:

Bachelor's degree 

8+ years' experience in leading creative functions in retail, advertising, design or related industry 

Experience managing and mentoring creative teams

Creative Portfolio demonstrating Target brand expectations 

Strong decision-making skills 

Strong presentation skills 

Ability to think critically 

Adept at managing multiple, concurrent and complex projects 

Ability to communicate effectively and interface with all levels of management 

Ability to negotiate in tough situations with both internal and external groups 

Ability to identify the need for change and lead teams through it
