FRS Product Design manages and grows loyalty, frequency and other marketing programs for all Payment Cards (REDcard, GiftCard). Our Bank Program and included credit risk and compliance functions manage Merchandise Finance, Capital Finance, Expense Management and Financial Goals and Forecasts. And the FRS Controller heads up FRS Accounting and Financial Operations, including Accounting and Control, Retail Bankcard Services, Target Card Services, Fraud Prevention & Dispute Resolution. As a Director, Travel Services, your primary role is providing world class travel service to the travelers and travel arrangers of Target Corporation globally, by mananging Target Corporation Travel Services Team.You will also manage the expense reimbursement process, global travel and group meetings for team members of Target Corportation.Principle duties and responsibilities include:Corporate Travel Policy - Develops, administer and communicates Cross Company - Travel Policy Takes partners to update and clarify the travel policy as necessary, assuring that the travel policy supports Target Corporation objectives and that it is clearly communicated and equitable enforced for team members. Institutionalize common policies, practices, and contracts for team member travel; establishing clear and common use of a single travel agency, expense reimbursement, and corporate card across Target Corp.Global Travel Agency - Leads global travel strategy to improve service and safety for enterprise team members and reduce expense Compliance - Clearly setting strategic direction to ensure that all policy and procedures are compliant with laws globally, as well as meeting Target Corporation business conduct and ethics standardsNegotiates and Selects Vendors -Purchases travel services for Target Corporation.Selects agency, air and travel technology vendors, negotiates agreements and ensures that the vendors meet the customer service and financial expectations spelled out in their agreements.Manages selection and review of corporate card, car rental and hotel vendors.Manages Expense Centers and Maximizes Travel Services' Profitability.Minimizes expenses; generates and implements ideas to maximize revenue.Strategic/Tactical Opportunities - Investigates, implements and manages strategic and/or tactical changes to the way we acquire and provide travel-related services for team members.Utilizes industry-related and technological changes to Target Corporation advantage where appropriate.Expense Reimbursement - Develops and implements technology and processes to ensure accurate and timely expense reimbursement to Target corporation team members and expense distribution to expense centers and operating companies.Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description.Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.About you: Four Year DegreeMinimum 12-15 years business experienceProven problem solving and analytical skillsExceptional commitment to customer service with outstanding public relations skillsExcellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to be persuasive when presenting ideas.Proven project/strategy planning and implementation skills.Demonstrated strong leadership, interpersonal skills and credibility with all levels of the organization and managementAbility to positively handle conflict situations, make appropriate decisions and build credible partnershipsAbility to cooperate and find opportunity in conflict situations, gaining consensus equitably.Ability to establish direction and manage team Ability to drive change and execute.
