Job Details

A specialized IT company in the SW Metro is hiring for a Project Accountant! You would be one of four individuals on this tenured team. As a Project Accountant, you would be responsible of supporting the daily accounting activities of 50-60 project managers. To be successful in this role, you must be able to multitask/easily switch gears, be deadline driven, and be willing to assist in other areas as needed. 

Duties include:
  • Setting up project manager’s activities into the companies ERP system
  • Processing high volumes of invoices 
  • Data collection/management
  • Running and analyzing reports
  • Follow up with customers on past due invoices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related accounting/finance experience
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - 70% of your work would be in Excel (Vlookups, simple formulas)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to research and problem solve
  • Ability to work independently and as a team 
  • Previous experience with Sage / MAS 500, FieldPoint and/or Crystal Reports a plus
