Description: PRIMARY FUNCTION

As a TSS Communications Manager, your goal is to manage and evolve communication strategies across the TSS enterprise that unlock the sourcing capability thru strong understanding and engagement of our global team.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive global understanding, engagement and confidence in the OBS 2019 Business Plan Priorities - 70%

Shape strategy and messaging around business priorities making the complex simple, understandable and engaging for a global team and critical internal and external stakeholders.

Strengthen our storytelling capabilities & messaging to influence, drive confidence and engage with key stakeholders.

Coach and consult with S&O to deliver creative communication including visualization of key messages to all OBS teams.

Establish communications routines that align with the enterprise and advance our OBS Business Plan goals.

Drive behavioral change through compelling content that showcases the behaviors and basics we want emulated.

Collaborate on meeting strategy, message focus and overarching story and material development for key internal TSS leadership meetings.

Proactively identify opportunities to increase connectedness through the right vehicles and drive engagement through internal and external messaging.

Support Owned Brand Sourcing SVP & President -30%

Create impactful content that outlines the value and impacts of OBS to key stakeholders.

Plan timely Business Plan updates for key OBS venues to engage and drive change across OBS.

Provide collateral for status, DR share outs, ATM, Newsletters that drive critical messages and themes.

Thought partner for speech creation and engaging the team through various mediums annually

REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to Director TSS Operations.Interacts with all levels of leadership and team in the TSS organization, from President to specialist.

This role has visibility to transformational changes and leadership intent and requires the utmost in confidentiality.

There is a critical balance of understanding the business plan and empathy around what is important and will resonate to engage a global team

Critical listening and ability to identify interdependencies to translate business messaging into meaningful messages for a diverse group of recipients.

Ability to translate complex ideas into a variety ofwritten and visual mediums to deliver clarity for the audience

Aptitude to create strong connections and understanding of a global team and what engages them

Understand what is critical from Business Plan progress to communicate to CFT and what will resonate based on their AOE and dependencies on OBS.

Stay relevant with external influences that have impacts on the critical stores and messaging that we need to share with OBS and across the CFT

Advance and measure ongoing credibility and communication strategy effectiveness

Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels and areas of the organization collaborating to understand, develop, and implement communication strategies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree

8+ years of creative or strategic communications related experience

Strong analytical, problem solving and strategic thinking skills.

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

Project management experience/organizational skills with ability to multi task and manage time effectively

Strong initiative and ability to work in ambiguous situations.

Excellent PC skills, utilizing Microsoft Office Applications Word, Excel, In Design, PowerPoint, and Adobe Photoshop

Expertise with web/intranets and content management publishing tools

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree with emphasis in communications-related area

Experience with Global audiences/teams
