Product Design & Design Strategy comprises project managers, operations managers, brand managers and innovation strategists. As a project manager, you'll lead a cross-functional team in the creation and ownership of product development and the execution of project plans. You'll also drive results by working across the business to develop products and manage resources. As an operations manager, you'll support strategic initiatives and improvements for the PD&D organization and its cross-functional teams. As an innovation strategist, you'll connect the right people and resources to create the human-centric experiences that attract new guests and generate business value. Here, you'll solve complex merchandising and enterprise problems through a broad range of innovations. Your positive influence will help reframe problems, explore new possibilities and create guest experiences only found at Target.

As a Director of Learning & Operations, you'll support all phases of the development of Target's owned brand portfolio through your leadership of project planning and process improvement. In collaboration with key stakeholders, you'll lead a team responsible for managing project plans and ensuring cross functional teams are meeting deadlines. You'll look across the Owned Brand portfolio and develop holistic tools, while leading a learning culture and Brand Management capacity. In addition, you will manage the Owned Brand Leader Reviews & Executive Milestones as well the overall team budget. You'll seek creative solutions to overcome obstacles and/or problem solve with teams as needed, which will include troubleshooting with partners to deliver final solutions on agreed-upon dates. You will play a connector role in the Owned Brands cross-functional team, while optimizing processes and creating holistic project plans. This will include proposing best in class tools/processes and facilitating new ways of working. Likewise, you will lead a learning and education culture by championing new ideas and driving routines to reinforce team behaviors and expectations. In addition, you will cultivate and maintain strong partnerships and working relationships with key stakeholders, including Sr. leaders, and internal and/or external partners.

About You:
  • Four-year degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years relevant experience
  • Ability to be an effective team player and manage relationships with team and key business partners
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strategic thinking, attention-to-detail, and planning skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Self-directed / Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Detailed problem-solving, independent judgement, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent time management skills
