Are you a proven creative leader who has championed and written broadcast work for a variety of brands and categories?  Is there a healthy amount of National work? Do you take pride not only in the quality of the creative you helm but also the indisputable results you were able to create on behalf of your clients? Are you looking to move to a thriving agency where you have the opportunity to shape the creative department in bold new ways?   Oh, and are you not a jackass?  Would the creatives who have reported to you agree?   Do you enjoy free coffee, a thermal mug with your name on it (yes, thermal) and filtered water?   If you answered yes to all the above, then we should talk.

Company Overview

As the worlds of brand advertising and performance marketing collide, there’s never been a more exciting time to join Marketing Architects. With a 20+year history in performance marketing, we’re well ahead of the pack, but why stop there? Our agency continues to evolve as we redefine the future of advertising.   Our three platforms (Creative, Media & Analytics) integrate seamlessly with a single goal in mind: find better ways to deliver bottom-line results to growing brands through TV advertising. If you’re up for the challenge of your career, let’s talk. But remember, every employee is expected to bring big ideas while checking their egos at the door. This keeps us moving in the right direction and having fun getting there.

Role Overview Over the past 6 months (and counting), our new-business win rate has been ridiculous.  We are bubbling over with fascinating clients- and we need a senior-level creative director who can meet the demands of our growing roster while helping redefine the work and workflow of the agency. Whew!  That’s a hell of a run-on sentence (bonus points if you noticed). But this is a hell of a run-on gig…

  • Inspiring writers and art directors to do amazing things on a list of key TV and radio accounts.
  • Skillfully navigating the need to drive measurable results for our clients in the short term while making them famous brands in the long haul.
  • Working with account management and VP, CD when necessary, to distill the essence of an assignment into a bulletproof creative brief that leads to category changing, awesome work.
  • Selling massive ideas to C-level suits.
  • Contributing your own wordsmithing special sauce to the mix (player/coach).
  • Architecting new ways for the Creative Department to compose the best work possible.  From how work is presented to how it’s produced, everything is on the table. We never settle with the status quo.  And neither should you.

Qualifications

  • Big-agency experience working on known broadcast brand campaigns, with a wide range of budgets. Please provide a link to your portfolio with your resume.
  • Creative Director with roots in writing.  We love art directors, but this role needs to mentor writers as well as throw down on big campaign opportunities.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience managing creative teams.
