Pro Staff has an immediate need for a Billing and Collection Specialist to work at a local and well known organization. The Billing and Collection Specialist is responsible for billing and collections of outstanding accounts receivable dollars from the existing client base and all other aspects of collections, resolving customer billing problems, and reducing accounts receivable delinquency. 

- Provides clear communication and customer service on collection issues to external customers and internal business partners.

- Presents oneself as a positive role model to the company and customers.

- Tracks past due balances.

- Tracks and resolves discrepancies

- Adheres to all department and company policies and procedures.

- Manages the status of accounts and balances and identifies inconsistencies

Requirements:

- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.

- 2+ years of accounting and/ or customer service experience is preferred.

- Knowledge of basic accounting

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with technology

- Strong client interface and verbal & written communication skills

- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

- Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external clients

- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
