The Environmental Services Float maintains a safe, sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment for all residents, visitors and staff. Cleans in assigned area, working under direct supervision. Must be pleasant, respectful and courteous to residents, families, visitors and fellow employees at all times.
Major job functions include: Peforming housekeeping duties in assigned work area. Thoroughly cleaning and vacuuming resident rooms and common areas on daily basis. Thoroughly cleaning resident bathrooms on daily basis. Cleans lounges, hallways, activity areas, nursing desks and all other public areas in assigned work area. Collects trash and recyclables from all rooms. Replenishes all dispensed paper products and dispensed soaps. Can also include working in laundry.
Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to perform physical job demands of position. Must be able to work well with others, generating an atmosphere of cooperation. Exercises confidentiality to ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
