Sr Target Security Specialist
You will be responsible for assisting in the development of a safe and secure work environment for all Target team members, partners, and visitors at a Target corporate site. You will monitor for and respond to risks with the potential of impacting normal business operations. In addition, you will help advance Target's reputation through professional interaction with public safety partners and will positively interact with all team members, partners, and visitors.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
·Access Management: Control access to Target corporate property by following policies and procedures.
·Incident and Crisis Response: Work collaboratively with various partners to prepare for, monitor for, respond to, and communicate all incidents and crisis events that may impact Target corporate locations.
·Special Events: Support on-site special events attended by team members, partners, and visitors.
·Technology Support: Ensure all security systems and tools are functioning as intended.
·Investigations: Identify unethical or unsafe behaviors that put Target at elevated risk.
·Documentation: Complete detailed reports and retain evidence as necessary.
This position will report directly to the Sr Manager Corporate Security. The Sr Specialist will also interact with Corporate Security Services, Global Crisis Management, Corporate Real Estate, Executive Services, Corporate Security Solutions, Communications, various levels Headquarters' leadership, and other key partners.
·High School degree or equivalent.
·Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
·Delivers great results, provides a superior Target brand experience for visitors and team members.
·Demonstrated ability to multi-task as well as the ability to respond quickly and remain calm during crisis situations.
·Proven ability to work with highly confidential information.
·Strong oral and written communication skills.
·Demonstrated ability of basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Intranet systems, etc.).
·Successful completion of position-based training.
·Able to meet any state or local licensure, background check, and/or other legal requirements related to their position.
·Higher education or certifications.
·Additional training or knowledge of physical security, crisis management, and team leadership.
·Knowledge of Target policies and procedures.
·Knowledge in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office 360, and Sharepoint).
