Patient Access Manager

Hutchinson Health is currently seeking a Patient Access Manager.  The key responsibility of this position will be to develop working relationships with other departments and leaders to ensure effective Registration and Scheduling for all areas of the organization.  The Patient Access area manages insurance coverages, prior authorizations and scheduling of providers and services across the organization.  This leader will oversee the setup and ongoing development of service area specific software systems, staff development and training programs, and quality improvement activities.

The successful Patient Access Manager candidate will have solid management experience with at least two years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting.  A minimum of an Associate’s degree in the healthcare registration or healthcare management is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  Knowledge of health insurance, registration, scheduling and Revenue Cycle is required.   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must.
