The Office of the Minnesota Attorney General seeks an experienced criminal justice applicant with the skills and drive to investigate, uncover, and stop fraudulent submissions made to taxpayer-funded public health insurance programs. 

The Fraud Investigator reviews complaints against public health care providers; obtains and analyzes claims data, medical records, and financial records; executes search warrants; conducts interviews; drafts investigative reports; and works with attorneys to prepare cases for prosecution.   

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field; outstanding communication, interview and analytical skills; and good judgment and character.  Prior experience as a peace officer, probation officer, or county or state fraud investigator is preferred.
