As a Sr Graphic Designer, you will design world class creative for in-store marketing while working collaboratively with a creative team and Retail Brand Experience partners. Target's Retail Brand Experience team brings together in-store marketing, visual merchandising and packaging teams to create a connected, inspiring store experience through product presentation, environment and storytelling. In-store marketing punctuates and elevates product stories through messaging, photography and environmental design. You will be a self-motivated lead designer and strategic systems thinker who can operate in ambiguity on multiple projects. You will need to demonstrate excellent graphic design and typography skills with photo art direction experience and expert knowledge of design tools. You will oversee and execute various projects by designing and/or overseeing photo art direction, as well as electronic and print production details. You will be responsible for making timely decisions for fast-paced projects to meet deadlines. You will create presentations and present effectively to Leadership and Marketing teams. Critical to the role is staying current with the latest industry, fashion, graphic and technology trends and demonstrate application to projects.

  • 4-year college degree and/or equivalent experience
  • 4-year college degree and/or equivalent experience 
  • 5-7+ years of experience. 
  • Portfolio demonstrating excellence in graphic design and a strong understanding and application of art direction. 
  • Effective visual and verbal presentation skills. 
  • Interpersonally savvy with strong listening skills. 
  • Open to feedback with ability to take direction. 
  • Action oriented with ability to prioritize and
    drive results. 
  • MAC applications: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
