JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for, but not limited to: Special Teams Coordinator, Assistant Football Coach, and Assistant Recruiting Coordinator. Recruiting & travel including the oversight of all special teams responsibilities, schemes and personal placement, offense or defense position coaching, web-based recruiting database, local priority recruiting area, working closely with prospective student athletes through the admissions process, organizing recruiting visit weekends in both winter and summer, placement of assistant coaches on all special teams, role in career development program within the organization, allocation of recruitment resources and attending recruiting camps. Individual recruiting emphasis on upper Midwest, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Chicago. Primary coaching responsibilities are either offense or defense skill positions. Specific emphasis on daily administrative duties as assigned by head coach.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Recruitment of student-athletes, including travel
  • Teaching individual skill development and technique
  • Organize, administer and demonstrate aspects of team practice
  • Assist in practice and game strategy
  • Daily administrative duties for all aspects of the program
  • Other duties as assigned by head coach

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Three years of relevant sports/coaching experience to include experience playing and/or coaching and recruiting at the collegiate level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
