WEBMASTER

Position Description

The webmaster maintains and updates content for UCare's website and other public-facing digital properties. The webmaster works with marketing and communication leads and other internal stakeholders to ensure UCare web content is accurate, engaging and up-to-date. In addition to the day-to-day management of UCare's website, this position is also responsible for establishing web standards, policies and procedures, as well as making sure content meets Section 508 and WCAG guidelines. 

·Monitor and maintain content and user experience for ucare.org and all other UCare public-facing digital properties.

·Collaborate with internal Subject Matter Experts (SME) and external experts, updates and maintains UCare digital style guide and ensures digital content meets these standards.

·Act as the administrator and product owner of the UCare web content management system (WCMS), including onboarding new users, managing user accounts and configuring user permissions.

·Uses Google Analytics to measure usage, make data-driven recommendations for website content and user experience, and provide reporting to business users. 

·Monitor and improve ucare.org SEO and site performance, using Google and other 3rd party webmaster and SEO tools.

·Serve as lead content publisher and approver of all marketing content deployments to ucare.org.

·Ensure web platforms are Section 508 and/or WCAG 2.0 compliant and accessible by screen readers and other devices used by those with impaired vision.

·Establish and maintain strong partnerships with peers and support teams across the IT and PMO departments. 

·Build and maintain positive working relationships with business unit leaders and key stakeholders.  

·Present digital marketing recommendations to senior leadership as necessary.   

·Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Project Management or related field; demonstrated work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Experience

Four years of marketing experience. Two years of digital and website redesign experience. Strong understanding of user experience and digital design practices to increase conversion, engagement and task completion rates. Experience with web content management systems. Django CMS experience is preferred. Excellent project management skills and proven ability to collaborate among a wide range of stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

Health care or interactive marketing experience. Previous experience as a webmaster/administrator.
