advertising intersect, offering robust digital advertising solutions with the
goal of helping our guests find and discover brands, deals and trends they
love. We help advertisers connect with Target Guests on Target.com, across our
other owned and operated platforms and on 150+ premium sites through Bullseye
Marketplace & Social channels. Everything we do begins with the guest,
including our approach to advertising. The Category Account Management team
drives creative strategy and oversight for all vendor-monetized digital
programs from concept through program launch. As the Lead Category Account
Manager, you will be the day-to-day contact and relationship manager for
internal and external partners, responsible for implementing programs, managing
the end-to-end creative execution including KPI alignment, on-time execution,
accurate launches, and post-launch QA. You will lead resource assignment and
agency kickoff for program assignments. As a thought partner internally, you
will be relied upon to be a Target brand steward supporting merchandising and
marketing priorities for your assigned programs. The team works with internal
Target stakeholders, external clients and third-party partners to understand
our vendor's strategic priorities, financial goals, and ensure the program
meets or exceeds the vendor partners' and Target's expectations. Your status as
an internal liaison coupled with the knowledge of digital industry challenges
will help you to be solutions-oriented and have the ability to overcome
difficult situations. You will develop strong relationships with business
partners in Site Merchandising, Marketing and Merchandising to maximize
resources and drive issue resolution and category alignment.You will use business processes and
systems, industry knowledge, and best practices to define objectives, scope and
requirements based on program strategy. Drive process change and systems
solutions to support new and changing business initiatives, and ensure a high
level of organizational adoption. Document process flows for execution and
identify gaps and opportunities. Drive innovation and support risk taking to
enhance the guest experience and drive revenue growth, in partnership with
internal teams.This position reports to the Sr.
Manager, Category Account Management, TMN. Within each category of business,
the Lead Category Account Manager will be responsible for effectively
presenting, communicating and managing expectations related to creative and
business strategies, statuses, and key decisions within project teams and
larger organization; independently lead issue resolution with partner teams.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors' degree B.A./B.S.
- 5+ years Account Management or similar client-facing roles in the digital space with ability to manage and execute multiple large projects, including expense management.
- Strong understanding of digital and social platforms as well as their use in marketing.
- Strategic thinker, strong initiative, and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to articulate and translate client objectives into creative assignment.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to be solutions-oriented and provide actionable recommendations in a concise and persuasive manner.
- Passion for creativity, from conceptual thinking to final output.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage ambiguity, and adapt with the business as it evolves over time.
