Description: PRINCIPAL PRODUCT OWNER - SUPPLY CHAIN

The Product Manager represents the "voice of the customer" by maintaining and prioritizing the backlog to ensure that the team is working on stories that maximize business value and deliver necessary fixes and functionality to all customers. A Principal Product Manager is responsible for one or more products, setting the vision and strategy for how they serves customers based on enterprise priorities and executing that vision with a cross-discipline team.  Develops detailed product features and requirements, and develops implementation plans. Serves as a major resource to other product leaders.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides measurable input to create product vision

Develops detailed product features and requirements and develops implementation plans.

Draft objectives, key results and priorities, including the full team in the process to foster shared delivery goals for each quarter.

Drive product discovery with the lead developers to rapidly validate hypotheses and concepts with customers before committing additional  resources.

Leads highly complex efforts across multiple product areas, with interrelated specialties; adapting strategies as necessary to drive results.

Defines KPI dashboards and monitoring, using the data to make business decisions and validating the impact of work as it's released.

Possess an understanding of retail, relevant technologies and design principles in order to drive innovative solutions.

Accountable for full product feature sets, delivering in the product model and communicating product needs with business partners.

Lead, develop and manage a cross-functional team of engineers and stakeholders, without any direct reports.

Assess value, develop business opportunities, write and prioritize work on behalf of customers to ensure work delivers maximum value in alignment with product strategy.

Coordinates among a wide range of cross-functional internal and external resources to ensure that products are effectively delivered.

Provide competitive analysis, monitoring, and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Serves as a major resource to other product managers, assisting them in the resolution of complex problems or leading them on larger projects.

Provides insightful, motivating, and constructive feedback to all roles on the team. Builds a strong team culture of progress, transparency and efficiency.

Surfaces team gaps and provide recommended solutions.

Promotes new ideas, methods, and technologies and identifies opportunities with significant ROI potential while building a culture of innovation.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience, including 3-5 years in a product strategy role

5+ years of expertise in coding or product design.

Experience working in an agile development: scrum or kanban.

Experience in an omnichannel retail organization.

Strong communication skills

Strong data analysis skills

3-5 years of experience working in a distributed team environment

2+ years of experience managing and leading a digital team
