Job Details

Pro Staff is seeking an Underwriter for a family owned insurance company located in Bloomington, MN. The individual in this role will be responsible for commercial automotive underwriting for accounts of up to ten units. This direct hire opportunity starts as soon as possible, and offers a “close knit” office culture. Candidates with prior commercial automotive or underwriting experience are encouraged to apply.

Additional Details:

  • Will be responsible for accounts ranging from 1-10 units
  • Daily schedule includes 7am – 4pm, Monday – Thursday, and 7am – 12:30pm on Friday
  • Small office environment (family owned)
  • Casual dress code

    • Qualifications:

  • Prior underwriting or underwriter assistant experience required
  • Prior experience in the commercial auto field or auto insurance experience preferred
  • A high school diploma/GED is required
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or experience equivalence
  • A pre-employment background check is required
