A role on the Financial Planning and Analysis team means providing insight and guidance to support Target's strategic growth strategies and financial decisions. You'll deliver objective and financially-focused insights to the business owners and finance leaders. You will be a critically important resource for long-term and annual financial planning, analysis and drive cross-company initiatives.  

As a Financial Analyst, FP&A, Stores Finance, you are responsible for providing client support across various teams that include stores operations, data and business intelligence partners, HR operations, and field leaders.  You will analyze financial and operational performance, forecast store level sales, provide financial reviews and store level payroll plans, and support the field leadership teams in partnership with the Regional Finance Managers.  You will be a strategic thought partner for data, reporting, and systems that the stores finance team and field partners use.  This role will include the development, implementation, and troubleshooting of new and existing financial data and reporting tools.

About you:

• 1-3 years finance and business experience
  
• Ability understand complex problems and identify solutions
  
• Comfortable understanding and analyzing large amounts of data at both a granular and a high level, within Excel and web-based reporting tools
  
• Ability to identify and implement opportunities to simplify and streamline processes, especially in regards to data and reporting
  
• Strong communication skills  - written and verbal - to ensure clear messaging with internal clients and partners
  
• Ability to work independently
  
• Ability to analyze, plan, organize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
  
• Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively, both within own team and across teams
  
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment where you are managing multiple requests and projects for a variety of clients and partners
  SSAS or SQL experience a plus
