Project Remand – Ramsey County Pretrial Services is seeking a full-time Conditional Release Case Manager to serve Ramsey County District Court.  Job responsibilities include: attending arraignment court; interviewing criminal defendants; creating bail evaluation reports; scoring bail evaluations and making recommendations for release conditions; supervising a caseload of pretrial defendants to ensure compliance with release conditions; and facilitating defendants’ successful completion of conditional release.  This job will provide an opportunity to work in a strong team environment and within an evidence-based decision-making framework.  At Project Remand we believe that everyone has unique skills and talents to contribute; that we are all smarter when we think together; that it’s okay to have fun while getting the job done; that anything is possible; and that we all win when we all win.  We learn from our mistakes and move on; we specialize in Big Hairy Problems; we communicate directly, with compassion, and to seek understanding; and we take time to smell the peonies.

The minimum qualification for this job is a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work or related field.  Knowledge of the criminal justice system, conditional release, and pretrial services preferred.  Strong communication skills and an ability to work within a teamwork framework also preferred.

Project Remand is offering a starting salary between $31,800 - $34,800 with an excellent benefits package.
