A well-established, dynamic and growing Property Management Company located in Central MN has an opening for a Compliance Specialist!    This position will be working with multiple properties to audit site files, train team members on compliance programs as well as manage each locations compliance programs. 

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Audit files for accuracy and be ensure compliance with government rules and regulations
  • Required monthly and quarterly employment verification reporting
  • Annual port reporting
  • Complete vacancy claims for all properties
  • Manage the repayment agreements for the properties
  • Ability to work with external auditors and governmental entities
  • Responsible for approving applicants for rental and all recertification notices and files
  • Must be able to travel to other properties to help assist the property managers with compliance

    • Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with Hud Housing (Section 8), LIHTC (Section 42) and USDARD (Section 515) programs
  • Experience working with MN Families Affordable Rental Investment Fund Program is preferred
  • At least 2 years of previous experience working within property management
