Job Description - Technical Support Representative

We are seeking new hires who have outstanding customer service skills and a technical background/interest, to join our team of Technical Support Representatives.

  • Starting pay: $15/hour
  • Potential raise after 6 months to $17.50
  • $19.50 within 12 -14 months from starting
  • Overtime available but not mandatory

Technical Support Representatives are responsible for assisting and educating customers using a variety of modes including phone, web and chat. Customer inquiries are related to both software and hardware, account management, and best practices relating to the product and industry.

Duties and responsibilities for the Technical Support Representative will include:

  • Take incoming technical service calls (will train on technical piece)
  • Respond to incoming customer inquiries
  • Support inquiries include questions relating to hardware and software (will train on this)
  • Provide clear documentation
  • Research solutions to field issues by working with other departments
  • Provide timely feedback to customers and dealers regarding solutions
  • Maintain a working knowledge of field quality issues

Current Monday to Friday Openings in Minnetonka/Hopkins, MN

  • 9am to 5:30pm
  • 10am to 6:30pm
  • 12pm to 8:30pm

Current Tuesday to SaturdayOpenings in Minnetonka/Hopkins, MN

  • 8am to 4:30pm
  • 10am to 6:30pm
  • 4pm to 12:30am 
  • 12am to 8:30am 

Current Wednesday to Sunday Openings in Minnetonka/Hopkins, MN

  • 4pm to 12:30am 
  • 12am to 8:30am 

Current Sunday to Thursday Openings in Minnetonka/Hopkins, MN

  • 8am to 4:30pm
  • 10am to 6:30pm

Ideal skills and education for the Technical Support Representative positions:

  • Minimum 1-2 yrs. of Customer Support and/or Device Support (Not IT) experience helpful (not necessary)
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated customer focus and problem solving abilities

***Some shifts above are work from home possible after 6 to 8 weeks of M-F day training.  To be eligible, you must train these 6 to 8 weeks in Minnetonka, MN and must reside at all times of employment within 60 miles of office.

Candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to hire.
