Ware Technology Services is parterning with a local manufacturing company to fill a Tooling Designer! Direct Hire!
Designs metal stamping dies, fixtures, gauges, and related equipment using CAD System.
Supports New Tooling, Die Maintenance, EDM, CNC, Production, Quality, Fabrication, Purchasing and Quoting Departments with innovative engineering and design solutions.
Works with existing and new customers with product design support
Maintains CAD software and hardware. Maintains materials, records, and resources in a documented system to enable others to use these materials.
Completes all design work in Solid Works Software.
Strong design and tool build background in the Metal Stamping Industry.
Ability to use Solid Works Software and experienced in LogoPress and or QuickPress Software.
2 Year Machine Tool or Tool & Die Certificate.
Advanced training in die design, tool build, blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Minimum 5 years designing progressive & stage tooling in metal stamping industry.
Minimum 5 years designing in CAD systems, SolidWorks, LogoPress/QuickPress.
