Job Details
A manufacturing company in the Brainerd Lakes Area is looking for a full time Machinist to join their team on 3rd shift. Primary responsibilities are performing precision machining operations to product parts by programming, setting up, establishing process and producing fixtures using mills and lathes. Pay ranges from $16 to $18 an hour dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
Work with Lead Person to learn basic machining knowledge and departmental procedures.
Work with Lead Person to learn the basics on running CNC mills and lathes.
Perform machining and/or grinding production.
Assist with the setup of jobs with Lead Person or designee.
Responsible for quality work during production, while producing quantity quota.
Qualifications:
Technical school education or prior work experience in related field. Knowledge of math, geometry and trigonometry are helpful Ability to read and understand blue prints as necessary.
