Position Summary Information Position Summary

The Business Office at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full time Financial Analyst. This position is a part of a team working in a cross-departmental capacity, helping the University align its financial information with the strategic plan, and projecting for the future. The salary range for this full time exempt position is $50,000-$55,000 with excellent benefits, including health, dental, vision, an 8% 403b contribution, and tuition remission.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with the Enrollment division's leadership to develop annual enrollment projections, manage enrollment projection data, and analyze and report out on projection vs. actual results.
• Collect, extract and analyze enrollment/scholarship data, identify trends, prepare reports, and communicate findings to support data-driven decision making.
• Oversee all data entry for FTE and salary changes as well as non-personnel budgets oversight for Enrollment/Student Affairs for the new fiscal year.
• Manage the Enrollment/Student Affairs division's annual budget process and act as an advisory resource/analyst for those divisions in the financial implications of ongoing strategic planning.
• Develop reports using the University's report writing tool (Argos).
• Support Business Office projects with data and analysis as partner to the overall success of the department and University.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (e.g., accounting, finance) and 3-5 years of experience in budget, financial planning and analysis and report writing/business intelligence or an associate degree in a business-related field and 5-7 years of experience.
• Strong business problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Process and procedural development especially related to technology.
• Experience with database maintenance and data integrity.
• Ability to work independently and in concert with others.
• Ability to interact at all levels of the University community.
• Understanding and respect for confidentiality.
• Experience working in higher education environment is desired.
• Experience with Banner or other integrated higher education software is desired.
• Experience with Alight financial software and Argos report writer is desired.
