Description: Wherever guests shop with us, we work hard to ensure their Target shopping trip is always frictionless, fun and rewarding. Our TargetExpress Team Leaders help create that experience during each and every guest interaction. You are responsible for teaching, developing and training your team to deliver on all Target brand promises in freshness, standards, guest experience, store processes, safety, product knowledge and accurate inventory levels. In addition to owning specific area(s) of the store, you are responsible for executing duties as Leader on Duty (LOD) when scheduled, which encompasses complete autonomy in overseeing total store operations and team. You are also responsible to respond to escalated guest service requests, prioritizing the stores workload in totality and delegating team member workload accordingly while responding to team member concerns if and when they arise.
High school degree or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Able to lead and hold others accountable. Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members. Effective written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations. Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary.
