A role with Merchandising Business Support (MBS) means being the primary contact on all things related to Merchandising systems. Here, you'll be a part of our team of Support Specialists, who answer 42,000 procedural and systems-related questions a year for Merchandising clients and their business partners. You'll provide clarification on system business rules and logic and recommend ways to use systems more efficiently. You'll partner with product owners to support the development process for Merchandising, Merchandising Process, Space & Presentation, Vendor, Sourcing and Product Design & Development and vendors through system design, testing, implementation and documentation. You'll be a key resource for merchandising system projects by providing process training, post-release in-department support, workshop opportunities, group meetings or one-on-one interactions. And you'll help manage web content and documentation by providing contributor training and support while reviewing and editing material to improve usability and align with the internal communications style guide. As a Sr Brand Taxonomy Analyst, you will own the designing and executing of Target's Brand Taxonomy while developing metadata and standards that will drive business value across multiple channels. This individual is responsible for the delivery of rich, reliable, and extensible product data through scalable structure and standards, institutionalizing practices throughout the organization, and delivering a best in class model. You will be a process owner and drive business initiatives by assisting the execution of overall brand taxonomy, metadata, and standardization strategy. You will collaborate and establish strong working partnerships with various Target teams including Enterprise Item Center of Excellence (COE), Site Merchandising, Legal, and Merchandising) to execute best in class models, needs, and uses across the corporation. You will analyze, design, and execute brand taxonomy improvements for existing and new business partner data. You will champion the development and implementation of product data and hierarchy standards for brand and license within and across categories. You will participate and assist in implementing and managing taxonomy governance processes. You will educate Merchandising and partner team members on taxonomy practices, tools, and uses, while contributing to projects regarding improved operations and technology for Product Taxonomy. You will partner in the development of current and future processes and best methods for item and business partner, and participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned. You will manage execution and drive for results, serve as a member of Merchandising Business Support (MBS), provide thought leadership while driving long-term taxonomy processes, and influence organization in practices needed to ensure superior guest experience and business value is driven through rich extensible product taxonomy and structure.Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.About you:

- Four-year degree or equivalent experience2-4 years' of relevant experienceSolid history of personal, thought, and results
leadershipSelf-starter and able to thrive in a highly dynamic and
collaborative environmentDemonstrated ability to maximize relationships in
cross-functional teamsTaxonomy Management, Data Management, Information
Science, or Data Quality experience preferred2+ years of Digital Merchandising experience preferredDegree with focus in Business, Marketing, Information
Science, or related field preferred
