Our manufacturing client in the Blaine area is looking for a sharp shipping/receiving candidate!

Hours: 7am-4pm M-TH and 7am-11am on Fridays
Pay: $15-$17/hr 

Job Responsibilities: 
·         Prepares shipments; determines most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container

·         Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.

·         Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.

·         Sorts, counts, packages, labels, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.

·         Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.

·         Prepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving records

·         Works ahead of production schedule to ensure all jobs are staged throughout facility

·         Checks that assemblies involved in the production process are of suitable quality.

·         Assesses whether employees need training to prevent mistakes during production

·         Suggesting improvements to company infrastructure and processes to prevent future mistakes during production

·         Evaluate product quality according to specifications

·         Enforce strict quality and safety guidelines and company standards
