Job Description:  

Job Summary:

Requests, issues and maintains the department's expendable supplies, utensils, cleaning and communication equipment. Interacts with guests and team members to provide exceptional service.


Budget/Asset Responsibilities:

Controls inventory and waste/expense related to supplies and equipment. Assist Manager with budgets, invoicing and accounts.


Job Duties:

  1. Responsible for ordering, receipt and confirmation of department orders, inventories and stocks of items received.
  2. Maintains computer / manual inventories of expendable supplies and utensils to ensure proper storage, maintainence, and distribution following set policies and procedures (paper stock, plastic bags, sand, urinal blocks, sanitary items, chemicals, radios, equipment, etc.).
  3. Interacts with vendors for specific needs (products that may need improving, problems with chemicals, etc.).
  4. Responsible for tracking of equipment repairs/tagging required for repairs of (radios, floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, vacuums, wet/dry vacuums, etc) to include inventory lists.
  5. Ensures incoming and outgoing supplies/equipment are in safe working order.
  6. Assists in preparing supplies and equipment for special projects and support of events and new areas.
  7. Occasional tasks



Requirements:
  1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  2. High School graduate or GED.
  3. Two years specialized supervisor or building maintenance experience.
  4. Knowledge of HAZCOM and blood-borne pathogens.
  5. Excellent guest service skills
  6. Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.
  7. Proficiency in the use of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software. This includes creating new or non-routine files or reports)
