Fairview Health Services seeks applicants for multiple openings for Hospitalist in St. Paul and Maplewood, MN. Duties include diagnosing and treating hospital patients, coordinating care and consulting with other medical specialists. Responsibilities also include managing secondary to complex medical illnesses throughout the hospital including the intensive care unit, managing the observation unit, and following and treating all unassigned patients from the Emergency Room as well as round on patients for physicians that focus their practice on the outpatient population. Requirements include First professional degree in medicine, completion of 36-month Internal Medicine residency (or 36-month Family Medicine residency plus 12-month Hospitalist Fellowship,) board certification (or eligible) in Internal or Family Medicine.
