Description: Sr BP Space & Presentation

About us:
Target is an iconic brand, a Fortune 50 company and one of America's leading retailers.Target Merchandising is evolving at an incredible pace. We are constantly reimagining how this $70 billion retailer offers the innovative, guest-inspiring items that Target is known and loved for. Our goal is to deliver exceptional value, quality and style to elevate Target as the premier retailer in a competitive global marketplace. Through intelligent and progressive business strategies that make the most of Target's resources and partnerships worldwide, Merchandising works across product categories to create a localized shopping experience online and in our 1800 stores. Are you a creative problem solver who loves to see your work translate into real results? Can you collaborate effectively, execute a plan efficiently and positively influence how Target chooses and presents the right product in the right place at the right price? If so, you will have success on one of our dynamic teams.

A role with Space & Presentation means you're on a mission to create better store space and experiences for our guest while maximizing sales. We are responsible for ensuring the right item is on the right shelf in the right store. On the Space side, we do this by using analytics to determine the appropriate footage for each assortment for every store (“adjacency”). Each store's assortment is assigned to a planogram (POG) which is developed in Presentation to ensure the localized assortment meets presentation objectives and is associated to the correct location in a store. We believe that making increasingly better space allocation and presentation decisions will increase sales, improve guest satisfaction and reduce out-of-stocks. Here, you'll partner with and manage cross-functional project teams in Merchandising, Store Design, Marketing, Store Operations and Non-Retail Procurement from strategy to execution to achieve an inspiring and convenient in-store guest experience.

As a Sr Business Partner in Space & Presentation Best Practice team, you will take the lead to provide continual development, training, and coaching of processes, best methods, systems and reporting supporting Space & Presentation's understanding and utilization of best methods resulting in effective, efficient and accurate execution by our S/P global team (Mpls and TI).

You will have an active role in operational projects impacting one to all pyramids for our global team, requiring management of multiple projects at one time.  In partnership with S/P and cross functional teams, you'll lead the development and implementation of new processes, best practices, and resources to ensure effective and efficient execution.

You will prioritize projects and resources, develop project scope and deliverables, assess partner, system and process impact, map out future planning, and communicate key information to partners and stakeholders. You will also build and maintain relationships with our global Space & Presentation teams, leaders, and cross functional partners to continually understand and assess S/P core and cross functional team needs and priorities, capturing the voice of the customer to identify and develop solutions for operational opportunities.

As a process subject matter expert, you'll have a detailed understanding of processes including necessity, partner and system implications, and application to core global Space & Presentation teams.

Bring your analytics/data skillset to lead the development of best practices for micro/macro analytics as it relates to enterprise space.  Additionally you will develop and support pyramid trainings as we work to build the capability across S/P globally.

You'll also partner closely with Product Owners and Merchandise Business Support teams providing the necessary support to ensure system development meets current and future needs of S/P and minimizes workload impact. Ensure system development and changes support current and future process requirements.

Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

About you:
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of work experience
• 2+ years of Space & Presentation experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain cross-functional working relationships across the enterprise
